Paulo is a visionary artist based in Southern New Mexico. His use of painting, music and photography is an ongoing quest of discovery and self expression. Drawing upon personal experiences relating to the transcendent potential in human consciousness. His work takes on an innovative, intuitive and imaginative direction. With vibrant, surreal, organic and often spiritual themes present throughout his work. It is clear to see his Influences are found in nature, dreams, cosmology, medicinal plants, indigenous wisdom, the human condition and what he refers to as “practicing presence”. A recent solo exhibition of his work garnered great public attention and critical acclaim. Setting forth further personal expansion and creative growth. Paulo is now developing new material for an upcoming solo exhibition scheduled for Spring 2027. It will include a series of mixed media works depicting his experiences while living in NYC. Leading up to his transition into The Land of Enchantment. Where he now ventures the Mountainous terrain, uncovering new inspiration and insight for his Art to take flight.
